how we handle your data.

LAST UPDATED — JUNE 2026

This notice explains how your personal data is handled when you join the Big Onion waiting list. We keep it short because what we collect is minimal: your email address, and nothing else.

what we collect

Only your email address, submitted voluntarily through the waiting list form. We do not collect your name, location, payment details, or any other personal data at this stage. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics on this site.

why we collect it

For one purpose only: to notify you when the Big Onion product launch ("the drop") goes live, and to send occasional updates strictly related to that launch. Your email is never used for unrelated marketing, and never sold or rented to anyone.

Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form. You may withdraw it at any time (see "your rights" below), with no consequences other than no longer receiving our updates.

how it is stored

Submissions are processed and stored through Formspree, our form-handling provider, which acts as data processor on our behalf. Formspree operates from the United States, which means your email may be transferred and stored outside the European Union. Such transfers are covered by the provider's data protection safeguards. You can review Formspree's own privacy terms at formspree.io.

how long we keep it

We keep your email until the launch campaign ends, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. After the launch, if you do not become a customer, your address is deleted from the waiting list.

your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, simply email hello@bigonion.eu. We respond to every request without undue delay.
